First of all, two weeks flew by very quickly.
Every day was interesting and productive. I want to mention language classes in German, namely conversational practice, which I missed so much.
Communication with native speakers, being in a German-speaking environment 24/7 and learning the language – definitely improved my level and consolidated the learned material, and also added me new knowledge in German.
To be honest, I went to camp thinking that I would be constantly learning and it would be, perhaps, somewhere boring and monotonous.
However, I was wrong. To my surprise, every day was different: museums, excursions, visits to universities, our trip to Baden, a picture gallery, parks, swimming in a lake and pools, etc.
I am completely satisfied with my time spent – educationally and fun.
Vienna is an incredibly beautiful city with a rich history and we never sat in the hotel (we spent about 10% of our time there). We had a very cool program, thanks to which we learned a lot about Austria. During our stay, we visited 4 top universities in Vienna, 2 museums, a famous gallery (where we took part in an interesting quest), an aquarium and an amusement park, and also spent the weekend in nature by the water and in thermal pools.
Many parents are concerned about the safety and nutrition of their children. As for nutrition, I can say that it is impossible to be hungry here. Participants are always under the supervision of accompanying persons, so there is no need to worry.
I just returned from the camp and would like to share my impressions. The program is quite rich and interesting, with many museums and universities that we visited. On Saturday we went swimming to Baden, and on Sunday to the lake. We lived in a good 4-star hotel, everything was clean and tidy. German courses were amazing, it was not super difficult, but interesting. Special thanks to Anastasia, who helped us with everything and during these 2 weeks became a great friend.
The hotel was very good, everything was clean, rooms for two people. Excursions to universities were very interesting, especially WU. The whole program is very well organised, because we did not spend time at the hotel at all, but despite this we managed to relax. We visited many interesting museums, an aquarium, an amusement park, and pools. Thanks to this camp I fell in love with Vienna, and although I returned only two days ago, I already dream of going back.
The camp was great. The team was friendly. The organisation was on the high level, personal respect to the counsellors for the organisation and support of everyone in the camp.
I really liked and remembered the excursions and visits to museums in Vienna and beyond. German lessons were interesting and interactive. Accommodation and food were really good. I would recommend it and I would go again”. Thanks to the camp counsellor, I felt safe throughout the camp, and I was always confident that nothing could go wrong.
